Disney's The Little Mermaid: Next Generations is an animated television series. It features the adventures of Melody as both a human on the land and a mermaid in the sea; as the series takes place after the events of The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea.
Premise[]
The series takes place sometime after the events of The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea, it revolves around Melody's adventures, the daughter of king Eric and queen Ariel, and the granddaughter of king Triton; both on the land and in the sea; as she struggles to find her identity as both a human and mermaid, she is sometimes insecure about herself; regarding if Melody is able to fit in as both a human and mermaid, but she receives support from both her family and friends.
