Glow Disco is the third episode of Season 2 of Weird World: The TV Show and it's the 29th episode overall.


When a power cut spreads throughout Rainbow City, Zap Cloud set up a brightly colorful Glow Disco.

  • This is the only Weird World episodes to have a 12 rating and the first animated production ever from Disney to have that rating.
    • It gained a 12 rating mainly because of sexual references in the episode.
      • The episode also contains fight scenes and mild language.
      • This isn't the first episode to contain sexual references. There were some in Wash, Rinse, Repeat and Night Flight.
  • The episode gained controversy, being banned in a few countries and was even nearly banned in the UK, because of a couple of scenes suggesting sexual activities.
    • The episode is now only repeated in the UK and USA after 9pm.
  • Brent appears for the first time in the television series.
    • His birthday was also revealed in this episode - April 17th.
      • The calendar at the start of the episode read July 17th and Brent stated his birthday was exactly three months ago.
  • The population of Rainbow City is revealed - 187,924.
  • This marks the first episode Zap Cloud appear together in the same episode.
  • It's revealed that Stephanie's a great dancer.
  • Many fans considered this Stephanie's sexiest appearance in the franchise yet.
    • Her sexiness, while rather controversial, was praised by many critics and fans.
  • Despite it's controversy, the episode itself received generally positive reviews, with praise going to the music use, the animation and humour.
  • It's considered the most adult-like episode of the show.
  • It's one of the few Disney productions to have sexy scenes.
  • This is the first episode where Stephanie's singing (albeit briefly).
  • After making many minor appearances previously, this marks the first major appearance of the Blu AOC nightclub.
    • It's revealed that the AOC stands for Art of Charm.
      • It's also revealed to be solar-powered and at night it uses large really bright lights to keep it going.
