Prince Oliver is the main protagonist of The Little Mermaid III: The Legend of Oliver.

Prince Oliver is a kind gentleman who helped educate Ariel in life above the sea. Although he was mesmerized by Ursula's spell, Eric still remembered how Ariel had helped him. It is for this memory that Eric loves Ariel. Prince Eric is also very brave, willing to take on the great sea witch, Ursula, by himself if it means saving Ariel. Finally, Eric is adamantly loyal to Ariel. This is seen after Sora completes Ursula's Revenge, when Eric is willing to learn how to swim in order to be with Ariel.

Oliver was captured and being held prisoner in Majorca from his people of Denmark by Lord Ariah's wife, Adriana, thinking she was a stolen Majorcan child. Lord Ariah (who was in reality the Lost Sea Warlock Cobra in disguise), was enraged at first, then he killed her. The real Lord Ariah heard it and confronted the imposter, but was put in a dungeon for years. When she was turned into a human, Eric clothed her and invited her to his palace. They fell in love. He married her, and eventually, he became King Eric II of Disney World. Ariel was Queen. After his death, his daughter became Queen.
