Sir Melwas is a major antagonist from The Magic of Camelot. He is a disgraced knight who has vowed revenge on the Pendragon bloodline.
Melwas is a somewhat handsome man, but his solitude and hatred have taken their toll on his good looks and most of his sanity. He has a muscular, but lean build, slightly tanned skin, amber eyes, and brown hair with a goatee. He has four jagged scars cutting over his right eye. Melwas is rarely seen out of his armour, but he sometimes wears green robes and a fur pelt.
Formerly a knight of Camelot, Melwas was stripped of his rank by Uther Pendragon when his choice of "peacekeeping tactics" became progressively brutal, and the fallen knight was banished when he attempted to take revenge by assassinating Uther's queen, Igraine. Although it seems that Melwas has always been a egotistic man, his time in exile has taught him that he will need planing and subtlety to see his plans through.
